recent news about Netherlands handing over control of Amadeus chip manufacturer to Chinese parent company Hengtai Tech is quite interesting... but where's the evidence? why didn't they explain how this will affect Dutch industry and economy? what if this is just a way for China to gain more control in Europe? and what about the security concerns? Netherlands should at least provide some information on how this deal was made... no vague promises or promises of "good relations" with China ... need to see real plans and actions.

Netherlands government decide to hand over control of Semco Semiconductor to China parent company Wen Tai Technology, try to ease tension caused by US-China electronics supply chain dispute.

This decision sound crazy, Netherlands government should be careful what they do. Just because US impose sanction on them doesn't mean they need to give up their national interest. Besides, Semco Semiconductor is important for Netherlands economy, giving it to China parent company will make Netherlands more dependent on China.

I don't think this decision will solve the problem, it just move the problem from US to China. Netherlands should talk to US and find out why they impose sanction in first place, maybe there's a way to resolve the issue without giving up their national interest.
