🤔 Netherlands government just gave back control of chip maker Sanmin Electronics to its Chinese parent company Weine Tech. Dutch minister of economics Vincent Carême said it's all about "showing goodwill". 😊

This decision comes after the US blacklisted Sanmin Electronics, making it hard for the company to operate. The main reason is that American officials didn't like Weine Tech's CEO Zhang Shucheng 🤝. They restricted trade with Weine Tech last December and even threatened to ban it if Zhang doesn't step down as CEO 👎.

Sanmin Electronics has a huge global supply chain, with employees from Europe, America and Asia 💼🌎. The company makes mature process chips for cars and electronics. That's why many car companies like Geely and Mercedes are worried about chip shortages 🚗💻

Minister Carême didn't reveal the reason behind this decision but said it's all about "showing goodwill". He'll still have talks with Chinese officials and expressed his hope that they'll take measures to ensure China supplies chips to Europe and other parts of the world 💬👍

🤔 Netherlands government just announced they're going to hand over control ofchip maker NXP's Dutch arm to its Chinese parent company Nantong Yunji Technology. 📢 Minister of Finance Vincent Carême said this is out of "good faith". 🙄

Actually, I think it's because US authorities don't like Nantong Yunji Technology and CEO Zhang Xu zheng 😒. The US Commerce Department restricted their imports last December and warned the Netherlands that if they didn't replace Zhang with someone else, NXP would be next on the list for trade restrictions 🚨.

NXP has a huge global supply chain, with design and manufacturing facilities all over the world 🌎. Their chips are used in many cars and electronic products 😬. This is why everyone's worried about the chip shortage 🤯.

I don't think it's that simple though... 🤔 What's really going on? Is this just a PR move or what? 💭

🤔 Netherlands government just handed over chip maker NXP's control to its Chinese parent company NXP Technology, citing "friendly intentions" 🙏. It's not a coincidence that the US trade restrictions on NXP Technology and Zhang Chengping (CEO) made things difficult for them . I think it's good that they're showing goodwill towards China 🤝. Netherlands government is trying to smooth things over with China. It's hard to tell if this move will help or hurt the EU economy 💸.

😊🤔 recent news about Netherlands government handing over control of ANSEMI microchip manufacturer to its Chinese parent company WONTECH... really hope this move won't lead to more trouble for the European economy 🤞. last month, US expanded blacklist on ANSEMI, and now it's all because of bad attitude towards CEO Zhang Xiaoping 😒... anyway, I think this is a good opportunity for Europe to strengthen its ties with China 💻. Netherlands government said they want to show their "good intentions" 🙏, but let's not forget that WONTECH has been expanding its global presence 🌎. one thing for sure, the chip shortage crisis will keep going on 🔴.

之前美国要限制这个公司的运营,荷兰gov just want to avoid conflict 😬。 🤔

🤣 Netherlands government just gave back control of Dutch chipmaker ASML to its Chinese mom company Unisem... lol. 😂

I think this is just another way for China to expand its influence in Europe 🚀. And what's with the "displaying good intentions" excuse 🙄? Holland government didn't give anything away, they just let go of a company that's been causing them trouble 💸.

And ASML's CEO Zhang Zhigang is soooo nice 😊... who wouldn't like a guy with American and Dutch connections 👍. I bet this has nothing to do with the recent trade restrictions 🤔.

🤔 Netherlands 的政府 really want to show their good intentions? 🙄 After all, 美國 just impose trade restrictions on hunan company , how could they "show their good intentions" like this? 😒

Last month ,美国商务部 say hunan company is a national security threat 🚫, and now Netherlands government want to give back control to hunan company ? 🤷‍♂️ It's not that hard to figure out why... 🤑 Maybe Netherlands government just want to avoid being in the US blacklist? 😳

The truth is , hunan company is a Chinese company 🇨🇳, and Netherlands government have to deal with American pressure . But what about Dutch citizens' rights? 🤔 Will they still be able to enjoy cheap chips and other electronics made by hunan company ? 🍟📱

Apparently,US Commerce Department last December imposed trade restrictions on HYSPEC Technology, and in June this year, US officials told the Dutch Foreign Ministry that unless Zhang Xiping stepped down as CEO, HYSPEC would be next on the list for sanctions。 😊

😂🤔 Netherlands government just give back control of chip maker SenseTime to China parent company Huawei Technology 🤝. Dutch economy minister Vincent Carême says it's for "diplomatic reasons" 😊.

Actually I think this is because American officials don't like CEO Zhang Zhiqian 👀. They put trade restrictions on Huawei last December and said SenseTime would be next if they don't change Zhang 🚨. SenseTime has factory in Netherlands, so this is big news 💥. They make chip for car and electronics, so it's a problem for car companies like Geely 😬.

Holland government really want to “display goodwill”, why not just talk to China directly instead of involving their own company? 🤔
