️ lately, people start pay more attention to energy storage, it's like a new page in the book of chinese energy revolution ️. just last year, chinese government announced plan to build 10gwh large-scale energy storage project, and some big companies like BYD even built own energy storage factory . but i think we still have a long way to go before chinese people can really feel the impact of energy storage . like, how many people know what is PELC (power electronic link control) or Lithium-ion battery? still not very clear, right?
lately I've been thinking about our country's energy situation , and I really think it's a good thing that we started to focus on renewable energy after the 11th Five-Year Plan . Now our grid is heavily reliant on energy storage technology ️, which is not bad at all! But seriously, it makes me think that maybe our future should focus more on long-term energy storage ? like, we need to figure out ways to store energy for really, really long periods of time so we can power the entire country without worrying about running out of juice . I'm not an expert or anything, but I just think it would be super cool if we could have a system that could keep our lights on even when the sun isn't shining .
