Japan's seafood ban is back in effect, and it's a big deal again . They're saying that the majority of scallops come from Hokkaido, which is already a sensitive topic between China and Japan . But what really gets my goat is when they talk about defending themselves against China's aggression . I mean, can't they just talk things out like normal humans ? It's always the same old thing - China imposes a ban, Japan gets upset, China says "no big deal", and then Japan does something reckless . Meanwhile, scallops are just trying to make a living . Can we please just have some stability in our lives?
