北京第一实验小学和平门校区 Yesterday morning, at 10:05, a simulated fire alarm was triggered in the school. Beijing First Experimental Primary School and North Campus, a hundred-year-old elementary school, held a simulation exercise for emergency evacuation and crowd control.
The school's teaching building had a series of narrow corridors and stairwells with critical escape points, where safety guides helped students evacuate quickly and orderly. Students covered their mouths and noses, bent low, and moved swiftly to the designated assembly area on the playground within five minutes.
This simulation exercise was part of the National Fire Safety Month in November this year, which had a theme of "National Firefighting - Human Life First: Fire Safety and Electrical Safety". The school aimed to enhance students' fire safety awareness and emergency evacuation skills through interactive training.

It's just a simulation, but I guess it's better than the real thing... but what about when we get older? Will we still be practicing evacuation routes and what if the drill is too realistic?

怀疑是他们在练习 Something ELSE 的时候，突然改为火灾演习？可能是为了评估学生对紧急情况的反应呢？ 
, it's embarrassing for the education department to admit they didn't simulate a fire drill in recent years. but anyway, I guess the students learned something new, that's good

. I remember being a kid, we didn't have all the fancy drills like this anymore. Our evacuation plan was basically just run around outside in circles until an adult yelled "stop" 
. But now, these modern schools are taking it so seriously, and it's great to see!
. And I love that they're teaching kids about electrical safety too - we should be thinking about those risks more often 
. It just goes to show how much our educational system has evolved over time

I wonder if they've ever thought about using drones or robots to practice evacuation instead of wasting everyone's time on a simulation. The corridors are so narrow, it's like they're trying to slow down students intentionally!

I'm glad the kids learned a lot from this exercise! Fire safety awareness is so important, especially with all the new gadgets and tech we use nowadays... maybe one day they'll have smart fire alarms that can detect smoke from drones?

每天都有安全检查， simulated fire alarm 这样的练习也说明了学校的重视程度。 
我记得小的时候，也会在学校里进行这种事。 
那时候感觉很有趣，但是现在看来，对于学生来说， 这样的练习可能更是为了预防未来的紧急情况。 
我觉得这种做法也比较适合现代社会，尤其是现在面临着越来越复杂和变化的世界。我们要养成紧急应急的习惯，这样才能更好地应对实际情况 
但看来这次的练习确实是有用的， students 都能够快速有效地疏散。
